PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION
PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION
As parents ourselves, we highly value your guiding hands as we partner together for your child's education. We strive to include the voices of our entire Socrates Prep family to continuously improve our school and to create an environment where all our children's needs are nurtured and supported. Our bond as a large Socrates Pep family creates a loving and caring school culture where everyone feels safe and welcome.
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is dedicated to enriching and supporting the lives of our students, parents, and educators. Our mission is to promote communication between parents, teachers, and administrators, and to encourage involvement in the Socrates Preparatory Community.
PTO meets monthly to share and discuss agenda items. PTO is a foundation part of our school's continuous improvement framework. We are always looking for new PTO members to join our family and help us with new and creative ways to improve the school, connect with our community and raise funds.
Please join our PTO to closely engage in our monthly discussion and help us move forward our Continuous Improvement Plan.

Thank you

VOLUNTEERS & CHAPERONES
Socrates Prep is always looking for volunteers and chaperones. We believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Your time is appreciated and needed to keep moving our mission forward. We love seeing new faces around our campus so please contact Salma Hatoum at salma.hatoum@socprep.org if you are interested in joining us.
If you do not have the time to volunteer, please consider donating to our mission. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations in kind are tax deductible.

Chaperones and Volunteers working or transporting any of our students must pass a finger printing and background check. The background checks are done through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Volunteers and chaperones are responsible for the background check dues ($95).

Volunteers and Chaperones are legally required to inform the school of any changes or arrests that may affect their background checks.
